WHERE DOES THE INFORMATION COME FROM?

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) is a New Zealand Crown entity tasked with promoting safe and functional transport by land, including the responsibility for driver and vehicle licensing, and administering the New Zealand state highway network. NZTA maintains the Motor Vehicle Register (MVR) which is a national database of all vehicles and associated attributes across New Zealand.

The Personal Property Security Register (PPSR) is an electronic register that allows security interests in personal property to be registered and searched. The  PPSR is maintained by the New Zealand Companies Office, an agency of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.
